Had the European and Indian Grand Masters known about Acrylic paints a few hundred years ago, they would have perhaps preferred this as a medium to Oil paint. Its ease of use in mixing and its quick-drying feature, makes it suitable for the fast-paced world and times we live in where even hobbies need to work to the general scarcity of Time. Indian artists are using acrylic as a medium on several bases although canvas remains the clear favourite.
I belong to the Karnataka which is famous for its crafts like lac toys or the chola temples or Mysore silk sarees.I am a self-taught painter and try to carry this tradition from a young age and generally I depict the scenes from nature and gives me great pleasure in seeing my paintings which are used by my patrons for decorating their homes. I love to use my brush and paint and vary my subjects with water color or acrylic as my primary medium. I am available for private commission.

Paintings from the times of the cave men are studies and expressions of human sensibility as it has evolved over the ages. When protected from direct strong light, moisture and rough handling, all paintings last well beyond a few generations. It is important to keep them dust-free and to ensure no moisture seeps through the walls they are placed on. The are a gift for all humanity to enjoy.
